Adding on to the numbers, 2 more companies – Chemcrux Enterprise Ltd and Manomay Tex India Ltd – have now listed on the exchange, making it a total of 171 companies listed with BSE SME till date, as informed by Thakur.
Ajay Thakur, Head-BSE SME, told SMEpost, “Today two more companies got listed on SME patform of BSE, viz Chemcrux Ltd and Manomay Textiles Ltd. The total figure now is 171.”

Gujarat based Chemcrux is manufacturer of intermediates for bulk drugs, dyes and pigment industries. Founded in 1983, the company excels in high pressure oxidation, nitration, acetylation and chlorosulfonation chemistry.
Rajasthan based Dhanlaxmi Group, presently known as Manomay Tex India Ltd was incorporated on 13th April, 2009. The enterprise is a forerunner in manufacturing ready-to-stitch fabric with the annual capacity to produce 17 million meters of fabric.
“Our strategy is very comprehensive. With maximum man-force and a large network of promoters, we will encourage SME IPO listings throughout 2017”, Thakur said.
As per statistics provided by Thakur, out of the previously listed 169 companies with BSE SME, as many as 24 companies have migrated to main board BSEs and 141 companies are eligible for trading on the exchange.
The total amount of money raised so far through trading in the exchange is Rs 1,292.54 crore while the market capitalization of companies listed has reached Rs 17,140.15 crore.
