2000 textile companies to participate in Textile Expo in June

German trade fair organisers Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs’ Indian arm has announced their upcoming Heimtextil India 2016 trade fair to be held from June 22-24 at Pragati Maidan exhibition grounds in the national capital.

Over 200 fashion-foremost companies from India, Bangladesh, Bulgaria, China, Japan, Korea and Russia will arrive in New Delhi with their stunning collections in dining, living and home textile segments“, a statement here said.

Top home fashion players, including D’decor, Raymond, Reliance, Welspun, Nilkamal will be showcasing next season’s interior decor and home textile collections at Heimtextil India this month“, it added.

Secretary Textiles Rashmi Verma said in a statement, “Messe Frankfurt India is once again providing opportunity through ‘International Heimtextil India 2016’ to Indian exhibitors for showcasing pioneering innovations in the categories of bedroom and bath linen, table linen, kitchen textiles, furniture fabric, textile floor coverings, among others”.

Although, India is actively participating in the Heimtextil Fair in Germany regularly, it would be another opportunity to the Indian textiles and clothing industry to further take the Indian textile products to new height“, she added.

Industry’s well-known buyers including Jabong, Fabfurnish, ShoppersStop, Harisons Furnishings, Home Saaz, Carrefour, Jagdish Stores, Sita Fabrics, Green Linen Pvt, and Indsource marked their presence at the exhibition last year. “With a reputation of attracting serious retailers, trade buyers and design experts together, the upcoming edition is sure to become an ordering venue for winter and festive collections this season”, Messe Frankfurt added.

Further consolidating its visitor focus, the co-located fairs will host an exclusive day for buyers and purchase managers from the hospitality industry this year. The expo is also to have a section for the various states in India.

The dedicated ‘Hospitality Day’ will see hospitality professionals conduct one-on-one meetings all day with exhibitors for their various hotel properties around the country.
