About 60 vendors will exhibit their machining facilities and capability and 20 outsourcing firms and PSUs such as HAL, BHEL, Railways and Defence establishments will take part in the three-day programme, D Shanmuganathan, Director of MSME Development Institute, Chennai,told.
The programme is jointly organised by the Institute and Coimbatore SIDCO Industrial Estate Manufacturers Welfare Association, he said.
PSUs and other industries will exhibit their needs with technical specifications and also the vendor registration process will be done during the programme.
The last edition has generated a business of nearly Rs.Five crore and this year a 15 per cent increase is expected, COSIEMA President M VLoganathan said.
With change of environment like ‘Make in India’, ‘Start Up and Zero Effect Zero Defect, initiated by Narendra Modi government, MSME sector has become more confident to meet the challenges and will contribute substantially for the economic growth of India, he said. Coir Board Chairman C P Radhakrishnan will inaugurate the programme.
