According to statement through its vast network of entrepreneurs across the Globe and with 61 chapters in 18 countries, TiE is creating a platform for entrepreneurs and investors to learn, network and share ideas with other like-minded people.
This Summit, in partnership with the leading agencies of the Government of India, 20+ TiE chapters from India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and Dubai, and global venture capital funds will be the largest such conference for entrepreneurs anywhere in the world.
StartupStrides will bring leaders, entrepreneurs, corporates, students, youngsters and runners together to show their support for the budding entrepreneurs and their new businesses. The run is focused towards connecting people from the ecosystem together with the aspirants to support and celebrate the spirit of entrepreneurship.
Commenting on the announcement, Geetika Dayal, Executive Director – TiE Delhi-NCR said, “StartupStrides is an exciting initiative bringing together the energy and passion of entrepreneurs. Starting up a new venture is no less than a marathon in itself. Therefore, with StartupStrides we wish to celebrate the spirit of entrepreneurship in the country and reinforce our commitment that we are in it together for the long haul and will lend a helping hand at each stage.”
The run is being organised for two categories of 3K and 5K in the capital by TiE Chapters across Pan India & Abroad. This includes cities like Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Chennai, Delhi, Hubli, Hyderabad, Kerala, Nagpur, Rajasthan and Tampa Bay. The run is being organized in partnership with Policy Bazaar, GoQii, T10 Sports and YouTooCanRun, IIT Delhi, Obbserv and Advaiya.
