Coir manufacture estate to be initiated in Mayiladuthurai

National Coir Board Chairman and former MP C P Radhakrishnan has said that the Government is thinking of initiating a Coir manufacturing estate in the town. The BJP man told the press after attending a private function here.

The central government will extend its support to raise the voice of Tamil Nadu at Center. He also urged that the Tamil Nadu government should also grant the funds immediately  for the sugarcane farmers as for the promise made by the Chief Minister in the last election.

To help the growth and benefit of Tamil Nadu, the government should insist on complete closure of government-owned wine shops, stating that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is showing concern over the Tamil living in Sri Lanka by attending the inauguration of the new residential complex at Yazhpanam“, Radhakrishnan said.

Radhakrishnan also said a coir manufacture estate will also be inaugurated after the discussion with the member of the BJP’s party EC member Rajendran.

National general party member lawer Rajendran, State Secretary Working Committee K.V. Sethuraman and State Deputy Chief Shridhar and others were also present in the meeting.
