The conference will be attended by senior functionaries of various State governments, apart from major stakeholders in the system, i.e. start-ups, incubators, investors, etc.
The initiative also envisages to take-up the most critical issues which are highly relevant for the ecosystem at the announced States’ Conference with the concerned State governments. For the same, DIPP has invited queries and/or suggestions from people.
The conference serves as a platform for all States to discuss the progress, policies and good practices they have made on the Startup India initiative.
Startup India initiative of the Government of India envisions building a strong eco-system for nurturing innovation and start-ups in the nation and empowering them to grow through innovation and design. The government has been making fast paced efforts towards making the vision of Startup India a reality, ever since the launch of the ambitious initiative in January 2016 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
