EY India has launched  ‘EY GST Helpdesk’ in order to provide support to the small business community and taking their concerns and queries into consideration regarding the new taxation system.

Built by the EY GST domain experts, EY GST Helpdesk is a free of cost service for small businesses, traders and entrepreneurs wherein information seekers can post their queries.

“GST is India’s most significant economic reform since independence. As part of our endeavour to build a better working world, we stand by the Government’s commitment of One Nation, One Tax and are offering this complimentary Helpdesk service. This will help in enabling a smooth transition for smaller businesses and traders across the country,” said EY India Chairman, Rajiv Memani.

EY is an approved GST Suvidha Provider (GSP). Only GSTN approved GSPs are authorised to connect to GSTN using the published APIs. Through its GSP-ASP solution ‘DigiGST’, EY as a GSP will provide intelligent IT infrastructure for GST compliance. The application service provider will deliver GST compliance related services and ensures smooth functioning and processing of transaction data, efficient reconciliation and appropriate and timely credits.
