Google India to announce good news for SMBs & start-ups

As you all are aware that Google CEO, Sunder Pichai is in India on a private holiday. What we are surprised to know is that he planned to announce good news for small businesses and startups on an event held by Google India on 4th January.

According to sources, the event is confirmed and it will be attended by IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and senior Google officials. Announcement at the event will be a gesture by this internet company’s participation in Digital India and Startup India initiative. Google is expected to announce Digital Unlocked Platform that is a leaning tool for small business and startups.

This tool will train entrepreneurs in new age marketing techniques, thereby taking advantage of technology for aggressive marketing. Through this program entrepreneurs can achieve their goals such as increasing visibility, reach more people, and increase sales. They can track their progress and will also get help from.

This program is in partnership with many local industry bodies, including Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture (MACCIA), the Rajasthan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI), the Federation of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTAPCCI), the Consumer Electronics and Appliances Manufacturers Association (CEAMA), and the All India Association of Industries (AIAI). All these government bodies aim to grow small and medium businesses.

Google also launched tools through which business can mark their location on Google maps. Businesses can add their social media profiles, work timings, images and more. On the other hand people can also give their reviews of these companies. All this information will verified by Google before being published. Google is also helping startups with their Launchpad Accelerator program.
