As per the press statement, the theme of the event is “Startup Ecosystems – Learn, Shape and Benefit”. Experts from the US, Israel and India will highlight how their respective ecosystems have matured and provide insight into what they believe India should do to build its ecosystem in record time to support large number of entrepreneurs. The one day event is on Friday.
Amongst the foreign speakers, Pablo Brenner, Partner at Prosperitas Capital Partners and one of the keynote speaker, will share his wide experience in US and Israel entrepreneurial ecosystem. He is currently involved in Uruguay start up ecosystem. While Eugene Kandel, Past Chairman, National Economic Council, Israel and Harry Yuklea, advisory board member, Icreate will share insights on Israel start up ecosystem and Indian entrepreneurs can learn and get benefit from it.
From National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), Adviser, Member secretary, HK Mittal, will talk upon the emerging Indian start up ecosystem and how it can be shaped into a successful ecosystem vis a vis US and Israel. Representing Gujarat government, Arvind Agarwal, additional chief secretary to Government, Industries & Mines Department, will deliberate upon new policy initiatives that will boost Gujarat entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Among the top dignitaries, Saurabh Patel, Gujarat’s Finance Minister, and Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, Education Minister, will be participating at Whatnext 2016.
