Top honchos meet President of India for an interactive session on eve of ‘Start-up India Action Plan’

On the eve of ‘Start-up India Action Plan’ to be launched by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on January 16, 2016, India’s top CEOs, entrepreneurs, technologists and venture capitalists is having an interactive session with President, Pranab Mukherjee today,  January15, 2016.

The purpose of the interactive session with the President is to make India the hub of innovation, design and Start-ups. It is expected that this interaction will bolster the Start-up initiative and be of inspiration to the entrepreneurs.

The ‘Start-up India’ initiative aims at fostering entrepreneurship and promoting innovation by creating an ecosystem that is conducive for growth of Start-ups. The objective is that India must become a nation of job creators instead of job seekers.

Some of the participants who are expected to attend the interactive session are  Venktesh Shukla, President, TIE;  Suhas Patil, CEO, Cradle Technologies;  Krishna Yarlagadda, President, Imagination Technologies;  Adil Adi, CEO, World Link;  Adam Neumann, Founder, We Work; Sarvajana Dwivedi, Co- founder & CEO, Pearl Therapeutics;  Kanwal Rekhi, General Partner, Invent us Capital; Prakash Bhalerao, Venture Capitalist, Rainbow Enterprises; KB Chandrashekhar, Chairman & CEO, Jamcracker Inc;  Vinod Dham, Founder, Indo-US Ventures;  Nimish Mehta, CEO, Lumen Data; Prakash Iyer, Vice President, Trimble Navigation Ltd., Sarvajit Thakur, Chairman, Enterprise Solutions Inc., Manu Rekhi, Venture Partner, Inventus Capital and  Raju Indukari, Chairman & CEO, Mtuity.

These entrepreneurs have made immense contribution to the emergence and evolution of the high technology knowledge sectors of India and catalyzed job creation through Start-ups, IT, R&D and innovation hub.
