Interestingly the company claims that using Google My Business, a user can create a website for free, right from a smartphone in less than 10 minutes. The company uses the customer’s Google listing to build the site, and automatically takes care of the design to make sure the website is populated and found in Search and Maps.
In India, the company provides templates and editable website in ten languages – English, Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Urdu, Gujarati, Kannada, and Malayalam. It states that over 120,000 Indian businesses are already a part of the pilot program that has been running for the last five months.
Google also states that the sites take care of the design, user interface and user experience to be as smooth as possible. One can just chose a design theme, add photos and write a description about the business. The company is also providing free domain names and is offering an option of purchasing Google Domains from Google My Business. The tool also offers the use of Google AdWords for creating a online revenue structure.
The tool also lets users create call to action options on their sites and can notify the website owner with alerts on their preferred platform. By having a unified Google My Business account, users can also manage everything from one place whether its on desktop, mobile, or the Google My Business app. Apart from call to action options, users can also use Google My Business to track the analytics of interactions, queries and visits to their websites.
