Some of the Indian ICT SMEs will also evaluate the potential of setting up manufacturing bases in Vietnam, taking advantage of the low-cost business environment, as well as taking advantage of the advance market drive through Singapore to Southeast Asia and China, added Vikrant Saxena, Senior Manager, Electronics & Computer Software Export Promotion Council of India.
“We see these companies tapping on to the new ideas, innovations, concepts and designs from Singapore and Vietnam, and combine creativity with our own product and software development for international markets,” he elaborated. The delegation will also be inviting IT SMEs from these two countries to participate in India Soft, an IT show to be held in February 13-14 in Hyderabad.
“We will line up 250 companies at India Soft to discuss more collaborations with overseas participants for joint production, design and marketing of new age product and services,” he said.
