This offer was made at the First Indo-Mauritius Joint Committee Meeting for the cooperation in MSME sector, an official statement said.
The two countries also explored cooperation in capacity building through training of trainers, surveys on potential areas, managerial and technical skills, marketing, exhibitions & trade fairs exchange of business missions, setting up of business incubators, easy access to finance and clusters initiative.
An action plan is proposed for development of coir, khadi and handicraft sectors in Mauritius.
Government of Mauritius has exclusively offered to India for transfer of bio-farming technology.
The two countries will also cooperated in the health sector. Health tourism, particularly from developing countries is a growing industry in India.
The Joint committee meeting was headed by Soomilduth Sunil Bholah, Minister of Business, Enterprises and Cooperatives and India’s MSME Ministter Kalraj Mishra.
