Multinational storage and data management company NetApp has on-boarded 6 start-ups for its first cohort of NetApp Excellerator programme designed to help start-ups create world-class products and innovative solutions that are market-ready.
The platform shortlisted 6 B2B start-ups out of a total of 200 applications received. The finalists will now undergo this 4-month programme that aims to help them develop cutting-edge products and solutions by providing start-ups an array of unique offerings. The shortlisted 6 will also be granted $15,000.
“In India we have seen there is a lot of stress on B2C. But, we are focused on the B2B space. We believe there is long-term value creation in that space,” said Ajeya Motaganahalli, Leader NetApp Excellerator Program.
The 6 start-ups selected in this cohort are Adya, Lightmetrics, Enclouden, Scalend Technologies, Vaultedge and Vitacloud Digital Health.
NetApp’s Excellerator programme will provide start-ups access to partner with industry leaders and learn from their experiences. During one 4-month stretch, each cohort (probably 2 in a year) will be mentored by NetApp technology and business experts, entrepreneurs, investors and other industry leaders. Start-ups will also get access to co-working space, tools and platforms, investors, financial grants, technology support, and business advisory services.
