The companies – Sprayking Agro Equipment Ltd, Narayani Steels Ltd and Riddhi Steel and Tube Ltd – got listed on the SME segment. With this, the number of companies listed on the BSE’s SME platform has reached 151.
Out of 151 firms, 18 firms have migrated to the main board platform and currently, there are 133 companies listed on the BSE’s SME platform.
The total amount of money raised so far in the BSE SME platform is Rs 1,104 crore and the market capitalisation of companies listed till date is Rs 12,325 crore.
BSE had launched the SME platforms in March 2012 to provide opportunity to such firms to raise capital for growth and expansion. It also provides immense opportunity for investors to identify and invest in good SMEs at an early stage.
