Beetle Smartotels are ideal for remote locations and industry clusters. They utilise discarded or unusable containers. These are repaired for any major structural damages and provided with three levels of heat insulation before being fitted with best-in-class interiors that come along with a hotel room.
The first hotel with 141 rooms will be launched at the Mundra SEZ in May. Bathwal hopes to add 2,000 rooms by June 2018 at multiple locations across the country.
The portable hotel facilities are being manufactured at the companies’ facilities near Ahmedabad. Once ready, they are transported to the location where the hotel is proposed to be built. It takes close to a month to assemble and set up the various units to make the hotel complete.
