“The fund will be used to assist students aspire to become entrepreneurs. We positively support government’s incubation policy to encourage the start-up culture in Delhi”, said Dheeraj Sanghi, Dean of Academics & External Relations, IIIT-Delhi in a statement.
IIIT-D has its own incubation center that support students in various manners to pursue their entrepreneurship dreams. The institute provides theoretical as well as practical knowledge to students about the business practices.
Along with IIIT-D, the seed money had also been distributed to five other higher educational institutions, including Ambedkar University, Delhi Technical University, Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women, Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology and Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies.
