“The company already has about 1000 semi-automatic dispensers across 100 companies, and the new product, called boxC, is expected to bring 100 more corporate customers for the company by the end of the year”, said Co-Founder and CEO Amuleek Singh Bijral.
The product will be officially launched on July 29.
“It is a utility service we are offering to companies. Unlike regular tea machines, this will provide tea made from natural tea leaves,” said Singh.
The machines will be connected to a cloud-platform which will also be accessible to customers who can keep track on the functioning of the machines as well as the billing process. Chai Point has collaborated with partners making IT products in India for the product. Singh says the machines will be adaptable to new softwares in the future.
As a pre-launch, the company selected five mid-sized corporates for its trial in Bengaluru and NCR.
Chai Point currently serves more than 1.5 lakh cups of chai every day through orders as well as from its 100 physical stores located in five cities.
