With growing e commerce, rollout of GST is critical for its growth as it is largely dependent on good logistics. There will be at least 20 per cent reduction in logistics cost with the implementation of GST.
Also there will be better turn around of commercial with drastic reduction of waiting time at the toll gates. One estimate suggests that India loses Rs 18,000 crore due to long waiting of vehicles at toll gates.
