“We help our users save time in picking up clothes from their own wardrobe and assist them in buying clothes online on the basis of their complexion, weight, height etc! We style them from the clothes that they already have and help them make better buying decisions. Our stylists at Kakcho will help users reinvent their wardrobe and solve their fashion dilemmas”, says Kakcho Founder Ridhima Chopra.
Excerpts from an exclusive interaction with Ridhima Chopra of Kakcho:
Background of Promoters
My Co-Founder Aakash Kakkar and I are from the same college FDDI, Noida. We graduated in 2015 wherein we did our bachelors in Business. We are now a team of 4 core members. We started working on this idea right when we were in 2nd year of college.
We both are very excited individuals when it comes to start-ups and innovation.
The initial period- the challenges & the ecstasy of quick wins!
Because we started in college we did not really realize the pressure in the initial period, we started by making a facebook page and spoke to a lot of people regarding it! So interacting with right people really helped us a lot to make less mistakes.
The biggest challenge is also to fight the race against the time, to get the product out in time.
Ideating is easy but executing plans is difficult, earlier we use to set unreal goals but with time we realized that it is always a better idea to go ahead with realistic plans.
There is one challenge, which I feel our team faced a lot was the gestation period between before the launch of the app. It is very important and difficult at the same time to be motivated for one cause but we had it intact.
The journey so far!
The future, as you see, 3 years from now in terms of scope & scale of your business enterprise
We’d like everyone who loves fashion to have Kakcho in their phones. There are lots of people in our country who are inclined towards fashion but because of orthodox reasons and no exposure people tend to miss out on their passion so we’d like to engage those kinds of people and open channels for them on the app to earn.
Of course to induce technology and go into Tier2 and Tier3 cities as we feel these are the places where we will get the most number of motivated users.
I’d like to see Kakcho on every phone.
Key moments of reckoning in business life
It is all the times when someone in office drops to help in return for no compensation or each time a new person joins.
The feelings on getting the first big order / contract for your company
When we received our first question on the App, it was phenomenal. Like all your hard work of months is paid off by one thing and in our case it was a query.
