B2BDelegates from 31 countries, including the United States, China and Singapore, will take part in the Kerala Business-to-Business Meet 2016 to be held at the CIAL Trade Fair & Exhibition Center in Nedumbassery from February 4 to 6.

“Around 100 buyers from foreign countries and nearly 350 buyers from India will participate in the three-day event, which will open up new growth frontiers for Kerala’s small and medium enterprises (SMEs),” said P M Francis, Director, Industries and Commerce.

“The B2B meet will be a platform for SMEs to meet industry leaders and find prospective clients. It will also help them to explore potential markets abroad,” he added.

The highest number of registrations is from Sri Lanka, followed by the United Arab Emirates (UAE).  Buyers from the United States, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Colombia, Iran, Hong Kong, Mauritius, Pakistan, Kuwait, Benin, Singapore, Qatar,  Poland, Thailand, Belgium, Bahrain, Bulgaria, China, Macedonia, Uganda, Namibia, Somalia, Nepal, Russia, Mozambique, Romania, Switzerland and Gambia will participate in the B2B meet.

Industry leaders from Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Gujarat, Telangana, New Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, West Bengal, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Assam, Uttarakhand and Bihar will also take part in the event.

Nearly 200 sellers from various small scale industries including food processing, handlooms & textiles, rubber, wood-based industries, Ayurveda & herbal, electrical & electronics as well as traditional industrial sector have registered for the event. The list also includes nine state-run enterprises, a press release from the organizers added.
