The 500-800 sq ft franchisee stores set up at a cost of Rs. 35 lakh per store, excluding the cost of store rentals, will offer bestselling merchandise across 10 product categories, including footwear, apparel, leather bags, wellness & personal care, watches & eye wear, electronics, and so on, from national and international brands for men, women and children.
Seventy five per cent of the merchandise in Hello Ten stores will consist of footwear from brands such as Clarks, Puma, Adidas Carlton, Catwalk, Lee Cooper, Crocs and Liberty.
“We are offering high quality bestselling footwear and accessories at attractive price points ranging from Rs. 299 to Rs. 4,999 with trained sales staff. We are promising 95 per cent availability of all in-store merchandise with speedy weekly replenishments, made possible with our tech-enabled forecasting system. If customers do not get the size or colour of their choice, it will be delivered to their doorstep free of cost for a minimum purchase value of Rs. 1,000. The service factor in our stores will be the greatest differentiator,” Adarsh Gupta, Promoter & Director.
The company has made an initial investment of Rs. 5 crore to set up systems, staff training and technology that will help to run the first 200 stores.
Of the 25 stores in Karnataka, 20 will open in Bengaluru, two in Mysuru and one each in Mangaluru, Udupi and Manipal.
“We will have 50 stores in Karnataka and a total of 250 stores in the country including stores in North India by the year-end. We are also planning to open company-owned, company-operated stores in the top metros in the third quarter of this fiscal,” said Gupta.
