Set up in 2006, Eskay Speciality Chemicals is the latest manufacturing unit of the SK Group. SK group serves the pharma industry and was set up in the year 1932. It has a proven track record and expertise in manufacturing, importing exporting & distribution of Bulk Drugs, Fine chemicals and Pharma Formulations.
Eskay Speciality company makes niche chemicals that are used in the making of ointments and medicines. It is situated in the Special Economic Zone at Sachin, Surat in the state of Gujarat. Ketan Shah, one of seven cousins who run the group is the CEO of Eskay Speciality. His focus is on keeping the group’s legacy going with product innovation and focus on customers.
The company has an Export Oriented Unit (EOU) of the group and also has an US-FDA NDC number for all of its products. Eskay Speciality Chemicals has a continuous manufacturing process system for one of its products which ensures optimum quality and efficient use of resources and raw materials.
The company gets nearly 80 per cent of its revenue from exports, mainly to the US and Europe. Some of the top customers Eskay Speciality Chemicals include the likes of Sanofi, Procter & Gamble, and Novartis.
In the year 1994, Eskay Speciality Chemicals won the Business Today – YES Bank SME award.
