Government of Andhra Pradesh has signed MoUs with various agencies to mentor and support MSMEs of the state, and provide entrepreneurship and employment opportunities for all.
A total of 8 separate MoUs were signed on the occasion of first UN MSME Day with Quality Council of India (QCI), National Productivity Council, National Stock Exchange (NSE), Berger Paint India Ltd, Effronics System Pvt Ltd, Enami Agrotech Ltd, Krishnapatnam Port Company Ltd, and Pi Datacenters Ltd.
The MoU signed with QCI focused on Zero Defect Zero Effect (ZED) which is intended to give a boost to Andhra Pradhesh’s MSMEs by helping them create quality products. The aim of the MoU is to push quality manufacturing in MSMEs by implementing ZED, and support the Make in India initiative.
Under the MoU signed with NSE, the state government will encourage MSMEs to list on NSE Emerge (the SME platform of NSE) by bearing the listing related expenses. On the other hand, the exchange platform will enhance financing opportunities for these enterprises.

Apart from MoUs, the government allocated Rs 100 crore fund and 15 acre land to Andhra Pradesh MSME Development Corporation which would assist small-scale industries to flourish in the state.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu also awarded state’s entrepreneurs at the International MSME Day 2017 programme for achieving excellence in various segments.
