Connecting NE region, 13th edition of NICT brings ‘Digitally Transforming Northeast’

connecting 333Under the theme ‘Digitally Transforming Northeast ‘, the 13th edition of the Northeast Information and Communication Technology (NICT) conference, 2017 begins on September 7 and will end on september 8.

This is the largest gathering of ICT professionals, senior policymakers, corporate users and academicians in the Northeast region.

The two-day event being held at Hotel Radison Blu in Guwahati, is also hosting an award ceremony.

The Conference will serve as a platform where the best minds from the ICT sector across the country, top-level policy makers from the State and Centre, decision makers from the corporate world, market analysts, academia and media will congregate to network, share and brainstorm in the best interests of the regions development and progress.

Over 35 thought leaders and entrepreneurs from across the country are expected to be presenting their ideas focusing on developing the Northeast.

The main highlights of the conference include- Digital Northeast initiatives, Driving Connectivity, Enabling cashless Northeast, Future Ready IT for Future Ready Government, Building new skills and competencies for a Digital Northeast, and Showcasing Entrepreneurial Stories from Northeast.

The programme is also being held in association with partner state- Department of IT, Govt. of Assam and AMTRON and supported by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India and Digital India Plan.

Northeast Excellence Awards 2017 in association with The Telegraph will be an exclusive platform to honour the undying dedication and perseverance of 10 individuals from the 8 States of Northeast who have worked for the betterment of their respective states and the northeastern region.
