Online SAAS platform FieldAssist raises undisclosed amount funding from SIDBI

fieldassistFieldAssist, a fast-growing online SAAS platform that provides sales force automation services to FMCG, CPG and Apparel industry, has secured an undisclosed amount in debt funding from SIDBI.

The fund secured will be used on research and development of the company by strenthening the artificial intelligence and machine learning.

In 2014, the company raised $40,000 seed from three investors- Start-Up Chile, SIDBI, Start-Up Chile.

FieldAssist had also raised Rs 50 lakh in its first round of funding from SIDBI in 2015.

According to a source, Co-founder FieldAssist, Paramdeep Singh said, “The rate at which the retail industry is growing in India, is imminent for companies to adapt new technologies in order to streamline operations. We are investing a lot in enabling artificial intelligence on our existing platform. We are also paving the way for a new sales mechanism which will give more power to salespersons.”

This Gurgaon-based company was co-founded in 2014 by IIT-Dhanbad alumni Jain, Apurv Gupta, Divir Tiwari, and FMCG professional Paramdeep Singh.

FieldAssist functions on Automate Sales Processes, Accelerate on-field productivity, Real time Secondary Sales Data and Business Intelligence for Sales Optimization.
