One can find the meaning of Arumugam (Aru-Six;Mugam-Face) as a person with Six faces. C Arumugam, CEO, Intech Vellore takes his name seriously and a perfectionist in whatever face he exhibits-be it a businessman, a father, environmentalist or association office bearer.
“After five years of experience with a company I started my journey in the Information Technology, which was seen a different field those days”, Arumugam initiates the conversation.
He started his company Intech Computers in the year 1998 by providing maintenance Services, Supply of computer accessories and consumables. After reaching his success along with the high confidence level and improvement in his service, in 2003 he distributed few more products like IT hardware mainly Amkette range of products, HCL Peripherals, Monitors, Mechanical Keyboards, Numeric Ups, Major Brand Computer Components, Umax, Asus, Seagate, Zion Ram, LG Monitors, TVSE, Intel Gold Partner, Membership, Later on LG Monitors, Optical Drives, Canon Printers, Branded, Desktops and Laptops.
Success Mantra
“Relationship with each and every customer by fulfilling their needs, having proper sales support maintaining the commitments and deliver the products on time are my key success mantras”, says Arumugam further adding that a good customer cares where the quality of the product is important.
He always makes himself busy not just inside his office. In 2003, he became the Joint secretary of Vellore Association for Information Technology (VIAT) while he also headed the same association as the capacity of president for several years. His biggest socio-business life was serving as the state secretary of the Tamil-Nadu and Puducherry based Confed-ITA.
Road ahead
With the information technology business not flourishing as expected, Arumugam has for the betterment of company, they are focusing more on targeting the solution oriented Business and value added services.
Personal life/ Hobbies
He happens to be very much interested in social service. It also helped him to be a part of Rotract club in the year 2000. He also took several projects with schools and started donating blood twice a year. It took him lot of years to be a part of a project called ‘Green Services’ due to his responsibility towards the cleanliness of environment, which also helped him to get connected to lots of Volunteers to support him in the field.

To reach the peak of success, it is very important to have practical knowledge and easily he should be able to adapt latest technology updates and also should be able to change as per the current scenario.
