HiGritHiGrit, a start-up that advises other start-ups on legal and other statutory compliance issues, has raised a seed funding from two Chandigarh-based investors. The Founders refused to divulge the size of the investments but said they might soon go for another round for expansion.

The Delhi-based start-up has roped in about 110 lawyers and chartered accounts from different parts of the country into a panel of experts.

“A large number of start-ups have no clue on how to go about in terms of registering their entities with RoC (Registrar of Companies) and other relevant statutory compliances. We provide them with the advice,” Ashish Bais, Chief Operating Officer, told after receiving the funding.

HiGrit.com offers business services that allow individuals and start-ups to get a customised service based on their respective needs.

“Packages include convenient, one-stop services for business incorporation, tax registrations, trademark and copyright, and other mandatory compliances,” said Manish Singh, Chief Executive Officer.

Users can call an expert for instantaneous answers, and book an appointment with experts for consultation. The firm takes a part of the fee from the lawyers and CAs.

An IIT-Khargapur alumnus, Singh had worked as EU Compliance Specialist at Amazon, while Bais has a Masters degree in Information Systems from Illinois State University.
