Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has said his government would transform the state into a manufacturing hub by 2025.
Unveiling Odisha Industrial Development Plan: Vision 2025 at the Odisha investors meet as part the Make in India week Patnaik said that with stable policies and industry friendly and transparent governance, the state presents an enabling environment for industrial investments.
He said implementation of recommendations of the vision document would not only help transform the state into a major manufacturing hub on the Eastern coast of India, but will also result in additional 10 lakh people getting gainfully employed in the State.
Odisha Industries Minister Debi Prasad Mishra said the 2025 plan will help the state to catapult growth to a higher trajectory.
He also launched eBiz Online Platform which provides 14 kinds of approvals online, and enables interaction between investors and the concerned department.
This G2B online portal eases the clearance process, thereby easing the process of doing business in the state.
