10 start-ups to benefit from Chinese accelerator ZDream Ventures


Founded in 2015 by Li Jian from China, the company is looking forward to cover a few start-ups in genres such as sports, parenting and others.


zdreamChinese accelerator and venture fund ZDream Ventures has plans to invest in about 10 start-ups in India over the next 8-10 months.

ZDream is a venture firm dual based in Beijing and Gurgaon and dedicated to bridge China and India internet industry as Accelerator, Venture and Media.
ZDream Ventures has also appointed Rishabh Lawania as its Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Head of Investments in India.

Speaking on appointment, Lawania said, “ZDream has seen the growth of the tech ecosystem in China very closely and understands the right synergies and fit in the Indian start-up ecosystem. My experience while running Xeler8 gave me the right exposure of sourcing deals for VCs across US, India and Singapore. We’re going to operate as a very founder friendly investor or incubator who will give the Indian entrepreneurs the right exposure or support from the Chinese market.”

ZDream Accelerator aims to fund, incubate and accelerate. It actively supports teams with strategic thinking and access to trans-formative resources to enable market expansion.

The company had also raised about $10 million India focused corpus from Limited Partners (LPs) in China and other Southeast Asian countries.
