Deputy General Manager and Zonal Head of Corporation Bank, Robert Menezes, said that MSME’s play an important role in industrial development and the purpose of the meet is to understand the problems faced by entrepreneurs to provide hassle free finance at the right time and at attractive rates.
Menezes was speaking during a MSME meet organised by Corporation Bank in association MSME Development Institute, Goa held at Verna recently. The Corporation Bank bagged two awards which include SKOCH Achiever Award and MSME Banking Excellence Award-2015 recently, for its outstanding performance in financing MSMEs.
P P Kulkarni, Assistant Director, MSME Development Institute, explained the various schemes and incentives available to units while AV Raviprakash, General Manager, Goa Shipyard, requested entrepreneurs to become registered suppliers.
Sanjeev Mallya, Sudhir Nayak, Samir G Padgaonkar were the other officials from Corporation Bank who were present. Bipul Kumar Mishra compered the meet.
