Keeping in view the immense job and business opportunities available in the field of Cloud Computing, National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) is organising a two day Certification Programme for entrepreneurs on April 22nd and 23rd at its Noida campus.
The objective of the programme is to enable entrepreneurs with hands-on knowledge of cloud computing and its basic usage with the help of which these entrepreneurs can then launch their business servers and administer it using the technology.
“The learning will take deep dive into the key concepts and techniques of cloud computing. Hands-on approach ensures all the concepts are clearly understood and applied during the session”, stated a notice issued for the announcement of programme.
The programme is followed by instructor-led training, which will include practical hands-on exercises, quizzes, and questionnaires for better learning. An end of the training examination will be conducted, after which the students will be evaluated basis performance.
Cloud computing is a type of Internet-based computing that provides shared computer processing resources and data to computers and other devices on demand. It is a model for enabling ubiquitous, on-demand access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources (e.g. computer networks, servers, storage, applications and services), which can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort.
It is predicted that the cloud market will reach over $3 billion by 2018 in India— an almost five-fold increase from 2012. Cloud computing will transform the way business is done. Small to medium sized businesses (SMBs) will directly be benefited across the country. This sector employs 40 per cent of the workforce and is growing at a rate of 8 per cent per year.
According to Zinnov, leading consulting company, the cloud computing market in India is expected to reach $4.5 billion by end of 2017 with most users being SMBs.
