Adil-ZainulbhaiOn the eve of 11th National Quality Conclave aimed at creating an ecosystem for quality in India, Quality Council of India (QCI) interacted with public via twitter on #QualityMatters.  Chairman of QCI, Adil Zainulbhai led this engagement on the theme – ‘Even in India Quality is Possible’.

Taking questions from public, QCI said that quality for India means quality of goods and services for 125 Crore citizens of India and for export to the world. For rural areas, QCI said that it is working on health standards and Swachh Grameen in rural areas with WHO.

11th National Quality Conclave is a two-day flagship event of QCI at Hotel Le Meridien, New Delhi. The theme of year’s Conclave is “Improving quality for our 125 Crore citizens”.

The Conclave will discuss the challenges, success stories and quality strategies for building an effective ecosystem, leading to creation & adoption of quality standards in everything we do. International & national experts, having extensive domain knowledge on Quality Strategies, have been invited to share their thoughts and ideas, some of which may be beneficial in our endeavor for process excellence & customer delight.

The discussions of the Conclave will stimulate new ideas and applications of quality for the way forward to build a better India.

In twitter chat, QCI also referred to the ZED program and Maturity Model which is being initiated to improve the quality of MSMEs in India.

Government’s goods and services also need to improve and it is working on it, QCI added. SMEpost.com too participated in the twitter chat seeking answers to several queries.
