KraftlyWith an objective to facilitate a business tie-up between government and Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and large private sector industries with Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), a two-day National Vendor Development Program-cum-Industrial Exhibition will get underway on February 19 at Kushaiguda, Hyderabad.

The event is being organised by the MSME Development Institute, an organisation of Union MSME Ministry in association with Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs (COWE) of India.

The event will be inaugurated by Telangana Minister for Industries Jupally Krishna Rao and Minister of Finance Etela Rajender, MSME DI Director D Chandra Sekhar and COWE President P Girija told reporters.

“The prime objective of the event is to facilitate a business tie-up between government and central PSUs — SCR, VSP, BHEL, NTPC, ECIL, NMDC, BEL, Coal India — defence establishments and large private sector industries with MSMEs for mutual benefits and to provide appropriate marketing linkages,” they said.

“We need to desperately scale up our efforts to fuel manufacturing, develop skills to produce better products with more creative approach, assure quality and add value to enhance the share in domestic and global market. The upcoming exhibition will provide a common platform for MSME, large and medium-scale sectors for a live interaction to understand their requirements, and facilitate in establishing business linkages,” they added.

The program is organised for the benefit of micro, small & medium enterprises of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states, they said

The objectives of the program is to identify and explore the business, benchmarking for challenging the best, to build strong business linkages to fulfill the heightened quest for cost efficiencies, to promote networking among the industrialists, traders, large, medium enterprises and PSU and to showcase the strength and core competence of MSMEs, they said.

Over 200 stalls of government, large, medium, small & micro units and 10 central PSUs are expected to exhibit their products.
