twitterTwitter has said that the average monthly spend has grown 60% per small medium business advertiser, making India one of the fastest-growing SMB markets for the micro-blogging website across the world.

SMBs across verticals such as e-commerce, travel, sports and finance use Twitter’s, self service ad platform in the country.

India is the company’s fastest growing markets worldwide, and in just four months, is already the third largest SMB market in Asia Pacific, and Japan and Australia, according to Emily Huo, Head of SMB sales, Asia Pacific for Twitter.

“We are excited to work with the Indian SMB community to help them achieve their business goals and reach over 320 million Twitter users worldwide,” she said.

Launched in September last year, the platform has helped owners reach the right audience, developed objective – based campaigns, create best-format ads, as well as use analytics to improve their campaign.

Huo met the top SMB clients in India highlighting the success of their campaigns on Twitter’s self service ad platform.

“The exponential rise of Internet, Mobile, social media, along with the changing face of Digital India, has made this country one of the leading startup hubs worldwide,” she said.
