Guntur MP Jayadev GallaGuntur MP Jayadev Galla has said India has a progressive start-up policy which helps the upcoming entrepreneurs in shaping up their dream projects without many hassles. The Central government has put in place a whole lot of support services and it is up to the entrepreneurs to tap the tremendous opportunities, he observed.

Addressing a public session on ‘Empowering youth for sustainable development’ organised in connection with the Annual Conference of CII Young Indians (Yi) Amaravati Chapter here on Friday,  Jayadev said the start-up space had its own problems but the present scenario was far better compared to a few years ago when the start-up ecosystem started to evolve amid heavy odds.

“The Narendra Modi Government has given top priority to start-ups and incubators as part of his endeavour to promote the young entrepreneurs and his ideas are yielding the desired results. The Andhra Pradesh Government has also unveiled a policy tailor-made to encourage the start-ups,”  Jayadev said, offering to extend necessary help to those keen on making their mark in the industrial sector.

On paving the way for the establishment of industries in the capital region, Jayadev said the Government was doing its best to attract investments and it achieved a fair bit of success, he said, without dwelling further on the aspects of policy-making and implementation.

CII Vijayawada Zone chairman P. Venkat Ram Reddy, Yi Amaravati Chapter chairman Tharun Kakani and co-chairman Bhaskar Nannapaneni and CII Vijayawada Zone executive officer and head Chandan Patnaik were among those present at the public session.
