Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest of the MSME national awards program to be held at Punjab Agricultural Univeristy, Ludhiana on 27th September. This was confirmed by Minister of State for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Giriraj Singh, who himself will visit Ludhiana on 19th to oversee the arrangements of this program. During the program, awards will be given to 35 entrepreneurs of different states.

This program is organised every year by the government to honour select industrialists who have excelled in terms of innovation, new technology etc. Among 35 awardees, 3 are from Punjab, including New Swan Enterprises Ludhiana, Dashmesh mechanical works Amargarh and Kartar Agro industries Bhadson.
