In a meeting with representatives of industries in the state, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia called for change in the mind-sets of entrepreneurs to increase their profits and also add to the government’s revenue. She asked SMEs to increase efficiency and profit by using latest technologies.
The MSME entrepreneurs sought for better coordination between the government and the industry for technology upgradation.
The Jaipur-based Jhotwara Industrial Association (JIA) President, Vinod Gupta said: “Government has its own responsibility, and we have own, both can run with mutual trust and consent.”
“If we make progress, the state too will benefit,” he said and agreed that the industries should adopt new technologies to reduce their production costs.
However, he also said that Government should provide more incentives and subsidies for the industry to make it competitive.
