Tamil Nadu Government has announced the interim budget, but the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) seems disappointed with this.

the President of Tamil Nadu Small and Tiny Industries Association (TANSTIA) MUTHUSAMI C. said that there is nothing for the MSMEs in this interim budget as we were expecting some announcement for flood relief.

The Tamil Nadu MSMEs were badly hit by the flood which was expecting some relief from this interim budget. The state government presented interim budget and not full budget as it goes for assembly polls in May.

State government announced huge allocations for different sectors, for the MSMEs it is just Rs. 348 crore, said the President.

However, He appreciated the increased allocation for the employment generation programme. He said that it is an interim budget and we are hoping that Government will come up with needful steps in annual budget
