In a move to further digitally push MSMEs, Union Minister of Urban Development, and Information and Broadcasting, Venkaiah Naidu has launched MyMSME App and MSE Facilitation Council Web Portal at 15th National Board Meeting of MSME Ministry held at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi on April 27.
“I am happy that MSME Ministry has set up Micro & Small Enterprises Facilitation Council, further strengthened by MSEFC portal & MyMSME mobile app. The MSME sector is high on priority of our government. It employs large number of people in India, while contributing to GDP & exports”, said Naidu at the launch.
The App and Portal were launched in the presence of Union MSME Minister Kalraj Mishra, MoS Haribhai Parthibhai Chaudhary, Secretary K K Jalan, and Additional Secretary and Development Commissioner S N Tripathi.
Speaking on the importance of MSMEs and the government’s focus on this sector, Naidu said, “Business and industry are equally important along with Agriculture. Economy is slow all over the world, but India still continues to be the best destination for investment. The Union Budget also reduced corporate tax for MSMEs which was a big step.”
Naidu added that Prime Minister is stressing on Khadi as it is the backbone of Indian cottage industry. He also urged MSMEs to take benefits of the MUDRA scheme.
MyMSME mobile application is for all Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) in India and other stakeholders. This application acts as a source of all information related to MSME’s policies, registration, services, schemes, etc.

- Udyog Aadhaar Memorandam (UAM) for Registration of MSMEs
- Apply for MSME schemes benefits (Credit, Technology, Marketing, Infrastructure, Skill or Policy related)
- Lodge Grievances
- MSME Schemes guidelines and Project Profiles
- Web links for offices and organizations under Ministry of MSME
The MSE Facilitaion Council was setup under the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development (MSMED) Act 2006. It functions as a state-level council and provides remedial measure for the recovery of delayed payments by medium, large industries, public sector undertakings, and state and central government undertakings.
