startupCRON Systems, a Delhi-based IoT defence start-up, has inked an agreement with Israel-based Defense Robotics company Automotive Robots Industry (ARI) to integrate CRON System’s rovers with laser-guided surveillance systems.

Tushar Chhabra, Founder and CEO of CRON Systems said, “This merger opens up the $50-billion international market for us. We want to contribute to defence forces’ equipment and weapons modernization drive. We can make a number of existing defence products smart and automated.”

CRON Systems is a disruptive start-up within the multi-billion Dollar border defence space, developing state-of-the-art Intrusion detection systems that implement the latest technologies and designs at a fraction of the costs of other leading products in that space. They specialise in Security, Drones, Defense, Border Defense, IoT and Wireless Communication Networks. Earlier this year, CRON Systems have risen undisclosed amount of Series A funding from venture capitals firm YourNest.

Amos Goren, Founder of ARI Ltd said, “ARI develops the most advanced mission-oriented autonomous ground vehicles (AGV). While CRON surveillance system will be the mind and eye, ARI rovers will be its troops to respond to intrusions. The combined product will make the entire surveillance apparatus more reliable and responsive. This merger aligns with our vision to develop user-friendly and cost-effective AGV solutions.”

This merge with Automotive Robotic Industry Ltd (ARI) will improve the way which nation’s borders are guarded. Machines will allow the eyes on the ground and are the first responders and thereby reducing risk to the life of the soldiers.
