Tata-TeleservicesEyeing larger business potential in the enterprise services segment in Gujarat, Information Communication Technology (ICT) solutions provider Tata Teleservices Limited (TTL) is looking at providing customised ICT solutions for the State’s SMEs in the auto-mobile, retail and IT start-ups space.

The company’s strategy to tap SMEs in the State is likely to help it achieve 15 per cent growth in Gujarat over the next two years. Senior company officials maintained that Gujarat business has reported the fastest growth in the past two years, with 11 per cent year-on-year growth against 4 per cent industry growth, in the enterprise business segment.

We expect the momentum to continue for two-three years, as we cater to small industries, with cost-effective customised solutions, in the ICT space.

“We currently have 6,000 SME customers across Gujarat and expect to achieve 15 per cent growth over the next two to three years,” said Sourabh Sharma, Additional Vice-President and Regional Operations Head (Enterprise Business), Tata Teleservices. The company holds 12 per cent share in the Gujarat market.

The company offers products such as Multi protocol Data Switching (MPLS), Managed Services, Carrier Routing System (CRS) and Hosted Interactive Voice Response (HIVR) which are witnessing increasing acceptance – ranging from large MNCs to small and medium enterprises.

The company eyes greater business opportunity in ICT solutions for school bus tracking systems, medical transcription, and financial transactions among others.

“There are new opportunities in agriculture and education. Agriculture sector is using mobile applications and Internet of Things for better output and the education sector is gaining momentum for content distribution network (CDN) services,” he added.
