We have started with the F&B segment and our geographical focus is to establish presence in all Tier 2 and 3 Indian cities. We partner with the best brands/outlets across every city and offer deals that are lucrative for the buyers, yet sensible for the business”, says Dibz Founder Sonal Pande.

Dibz App offers deals at the most coveted restaurants and hotels, which otherwise remain distant from discounting. Dibz makes it possible through investigation of each partner’s business dynamics, thus enabling strategic proffering.

Background of Promoters

I spent over 10 years enjoying an early access to some of the most spectacular innovations of this era! I enjoyed my early years in the patent world, working on litigations, competitive landscape, white-space analyses, M&A and due diligence assignments for global tech bigwigs.

The initial period- the challenges & the ecstasy of quick wins!

The word ‘deals’ has been abused so badly that it has skewed the perception of the businesses offering it and the expectations of the customers availing it. Moreover, the rise and fall of innumerous deal platforms every other day has led to strong negative belief which plays against the core business model.

We restricted our engagement to a limited set of partners, chosen based on strict criteria. Dibz has some seasoned consultants, we understood each partners’ challenges and spent time in building trust. This set us apart and gave our partners the confidence to stick with us and collaborate in our effort to make their business smarter.

The feelings on signing the first big brand partner

Yes, we were nervous sitting in the GM’s office of a global hotel chain that had forever stayed away from deals & discounting. But we knew that now was the time to get real validation for our concept, Dibz. As expected, there was a preconceived notion about what we were trying to do but our conversation over the next 15 minutes completely resonated one single fact – Yes, even big brands are in a dire need of a platform where they can promote strategic offers without diluting their brand!
