Background of Promoters
We are 4 friends who started Lawyered. I have been working in the start-up ecosystem for past 3 years and am experienced in UX/UI, graphics, social media marketing, sales and Customer Relationship Management.
Shashank is an experienced software developer, worked with TCS & Qantas Airlines for developing Supply Chain Management software and Product Management.
Raghav worked as a System engineer in TCS & Qantas airlines from 2013 to Oct’15. He is an experienced Business Intelligence Executive & Analyst, with a keen interest towards data, infrastructure, management and operations.
Lakshya, after engineering, worked with his family business, managing 1000 labours before starting his entrepreneurial journey with Lawyered.

The platform has over 70+ business lawyers, which include premium lawyer who have worked at top law firms like Luthra&Luthra, AZB, AmarchandMangaldas, Khaitan& co and well-known companies & startups such as Tata, Google, Zoomcar, Redbus, Swiggy, FashionTV, Pepperfry, bank4u, Cardekho, Tripoto, Edukart, to name a few.
Currently operational in Delhi NCR, Mumbai & Bengaluru, the platform has resolved over 1000+ queries and helped more than 300+ businesses find their lawyer.
After successfully helping start-ups across these major hubs, Lawyered is now expanding its target to SMEs and industry specific businesses. For the same reason, a new feature of on-call legal advise has been introduced through which businesses can now take help of an industry expert lawyer at a flat fee of Rs.1500/- for 30 minutes. The new feature is expected to come very handy for HR, CIO, CXO, and decision makers working with young startups & early stage venture which cannot afford an in-house lawyer.

The future, as you see, 3 years from now in terms of scope & scale of your business enterprise
The legal sector in India is roughly estimated to be 10 billion dollars industry. According to a recent survey by Bar Council of India, there are over 2 million lawyers in India, out of which more than 60% are self employed.
By the end of 2017, we expect to onboard 1000 lawyers and expand our reach to 20 major cities. Moving forward, we want to add more automation for lawyer discovery and build tech enabled solutions for lawyers to practice smart.
Key moments of reckoning in business life
The most defining moment in our journey was when we got an opportunity to address in front of the Bar Council of India officials, top law firms and General Councils at an event organized by ICCA.
