Tata Teleservices is eyeing business from small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Nagpur and nearby areas. After laying a network of 1200 kms cable in Nagpur region, the company has launched enterprise-based solutions in city. The product is specially targeted at the SMEs.
The company aims to add up around 200 clients in a year with the service covering areas like Internet, voice telephony and cloud data, said Sourabh Sharma the Vice-President SME (west region) for the company. The services will be designed for enterprises depending upon their need. At present, the SMEs may be getting conventional services of the company like Internet or telephone. This will be a step ahead, he said.
The company is also keen to launch services related to Internet of Things (IOT). This again would be a tailor-made product based on the needs specified by the user, said Sharma.
The company finds Nagpur to be one of the fastest growing cities in Maharashtra. It sees major business opportunity from SMEs that operate across the sectors. As the entities are now fast adopting information and communication technology to increase their competitiveness, Tata Teleservices sees it as a business opportunity, said a press release.
