Q: You have been into ERP Products and Consulting and have been targeting SMEs. Please give us a sense of your product?

A: InforTran is an ERP Products and Consulting Company based in Bangalore, India, focused on Business Solutions design, development and Implementation Services. InforTran has developed niche Business Solutions using Open Source Technology stack, primarily focusing on the needs of Enterprises in growth stage. These Enterprises aim to rely on technology and IT automation needs for optimization of Business operations. The management teams of such enterprises aims to remain competitive in their market place by taking data driven informed decisions for day to day operations as well as future growth.

InforTran has been helping various such Enterprises in understanding their business requirements and challenges and designing business solutions which are easily adoptable by their end users.

Q:  What type of ERP solutions you provide?

A: Solutions targeted to meet SME segment needs, built on Open source technology stack.

Q: In today’s area, there are plenty of ERP solutions providers. How different your product is?

A: We provide Business Solutions targeted to overcome a single or multiple Business challenges of an Enterprise. We are not just another ERP Product company and we do not compete in that space.

Q: Explain the top 5 aspects, your ERP solution addresses the pain points of any SME/MSMEs ?

A:

  • SME’s can buy just 1 or 2 modules which cater to their key function and they can keep adding new modules/function as and when they grow, without any down time.
  • Low Investment, SME’s can use our Startup packs
  • SME challenges are regularly fed in to our roadmap by our Product management team
  • Handholding and Timely support as and when they adopt the solution
  • Overall investment for SME’s do not fluctuate much even as their Business scale.

Q: Please explain your revenue model? Cloud or perpetual etc?

A: Perpetual. Revenue is collected for Solution Design, Implementation and Training. Customization if any, AMC if any

Q What are the top aspects a MSME firm should look at while implementing their ERP solutions?

A:

  • It’s not just about affordability, it’s about high adoption
  • It’s not about how many transactions you make on the system, it’s about how easy it is to make them.
  • Aim to have a paperless office. It’s not just about accounting, It’s a solution, using by which you run your business
  • Involve, Involve and Involve with Implementation Vendor
  • Be open about sharing business operational challenges and automation needs at Primitive stages of Solution Design

Q: Explain your post sales service/service support including training ?

A:

  • 12 hrs * 6 days – Unlimited skype, Tele call and Email Support with an SLA of 2 hours response time for customers under AMC.
  • Customers not under AMC gets paid one time support on a need basis
  • Training is part of package cost

Q:  What are the organization plans for this financial year?

A: Launching New Products for new Verticals and driving Channel Sales
