E-Shopping which has been a recent trend has changed the purchasing patterns of millions of customers across the globe. The E-Shopping has been proven successful even in India came to the rescue of Channaits in supplying daily needs weathering all commuting difficulties.

Though the recent flood in Chennai changed the lives of millions of people, but on the positive side, it helped in promoting E-shopping as it got many more customers during the tough time as they would have otherwise not utilized it.

With the transport and networks went-off completely, all the E-tailers and other E-services were shut completely. However, many retailers in Chennai had opened their services not just for selling the products, but worked as an incubator for many suffering victims.

The 4 ways many small and medium business owners helped the customers and victims

Shelter : Many small time retailers were struggling for 3 days with no business. However, many of them, who had their shops in the top floors offered shelters for their customers who had forgotten them after e-shopping came.

E-Cash : With the rains entering the ATM machines and almost 99% of the ATM went off, many were struggling to withdraw cash. The retailers had helped the people with their debit card machine and provided the cash the customers needed.

Free Wi-Fi : Many channel partners across the city, through their shops, had opened their passwords open so that the neighboring region can access the internet free.

Credit : Even though there are news that many retailers were selling the products double the price of the original, there were plenty of retailers who had sold products at minimal cost and requested the customers that they can pay once they turn to normality.
