These awards have been constituted to celebrate the Success Stories of Indian SME Sector who have scored big through innovative thinking, operational efficiency, futuristic strategies, smart marketing, business growth, contribution to employment generation and exports besides setting new benchmarks in product & service innovation. Shri Kalraj Mishra, Honorable Minister for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises has been invited as the Chief Guest of the event.

Kalraj Invite copySpeaking about the awards on behalf of SMEpost.com, Raktim Das said, “The significance of MSMEs to India’s economic growth and prosperity is well established.  They provide the critical depth to the manufacturing and service sectors, foster entrepreneurship and generate substantial employment. The objective of #SuperSMEawards is not only to Celebrate SME Success Stories but also to leverage the power of the digital media to give the sector its due voice. A proprietary model which is quantitative as well qualitative in nature by featuring key aspects that would determine the performance of an SME was developed by SMEpost.com for screening nominations for the Super SME Awards. The final set of 20 Super SMEs was chosen from among the shortlisted entries by the eminent jury based on a combination of the quantitative scores and qualitative information and discussion around it.”

The Jury meeting was held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at WASME office in Noida. It was a high powered panel comprising of Editors and media professionals who have been associated with leading media brands. It also comprised of former and current senior bureaucrats associated with Union & State Governments in various capacities apart from professionals from the Industry and from civil society organizations.
