Union Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has said that the younger generation should volunteer for more start-ups and assist in developing the country’s economy.
In an interview in Berlin, Sitharaman said that market access strategies would be devised during the inter-governmental consultations meet. Explaining the various steps to improve trade and investments, she said that GST will improve the investment climate.
The Commerce Minister said electronic goods recycling is one of the major area which could be of use to protect the environment. The small and medium enterprises is all set to become a major developer and provide impetus to the country’s economy.
Make in India projects will also be given major thrust in vital areas like health, medicine, bio-technology, information technology and defence.
